The Elmer & Glenda Harris Early Learning Center is the product
of a unique public-private partnership including city government, higher education,
and various corporations in the downtown Birmingham area.
Through the vision and efforts of the Birmingham
Urban Revitalization Partnership as well as the Department of Human Development and Family Studies in the
College of Human Sciences at Auburn University, this $6.5 million center has continued to be a model
facility in the community, state, and nation. |
